Rating: 4 out of 5.

I recently read and loved Danielle Grandinetti’s historical romance, Refuge for the Archeologist, so even though contemporary stories aren’t usually my favorite, I knew I had to read this one.

In A Father for Her Boys, the author weaves realistic portrayals of the hardships of life into a sweet and inspirational romance. Our heroine, Sophia, has lost her sister and suddenly become the mother of her two nephews, while our hero Nathaniel, is kind and compassionate but broken from a previous relationship.

I loved seeing their second-chance love unfold, and I would call A Father for Her Boys the perfect summer read for those who enjoy love-inspired stories. The portrayal of good masculinity and a healthy family and relationship was also much appreciated, and I am thankful I had a chance to read this book.
